Professional Development

The Early Education Programs and Services department offers a number of professional development opportunities on a variety of topics for preschool, infant/toddler teachers and administrators, and family early care and learning providers.

The workshops highlighted in this catalog are intentionally offered to align to program quality goals and build upon existing skills. Check out the catalog to explore how the workshops are differentiated by levels of expertise and target audience.

Introductory Workshops

Introductory level workshops provide participants with knowledge of essential areas and introduces participants to new content.

Intermediate Workshops

Intermediate level workshops provide participants with a deeper understanding of content knowledge and strategies for implementation.

Advanced Workshops

Advanced level workshops are for participants that have an increased understanding in the content area, have significant experience working in an early learning and care program and cultivates a long-life learning stance by promoting and sharing evidence-based practices.
